27O72O12 Olympic Opening Ceremony

OHHHHHHHHH-OLYMPIC!
I'm here 8 p.m. now, 1 hour more to the olympic opening ceremony! Planning to watch it online :)

FRIDAY - the only day in a week to hang out until wee hours, but it's a big no way for me (I've only tried twice) because I do everything ALONE. I'm always teased by the father of my host family,
(in cantonese)
He: 咦 点解Zoe甘早返geh 今日星期五涡 无男仔约你出街meh (in a sarcastic way)
Me: 哎 我日日都系甘早返既啦 无market 你又吾系吾知
He: 你真系闷 我地中多节目过你
Aiyo, no market here, not my fault, blame on my chromosome 2, which had decided my appearance.


So, I usually spend my time with movies - eating while watching is always my favourite. (& of course I won't forget to take photos HAAHAHAHA! - vain) I won't eat when there's no movie to watch; I won't watch when there's no food to eat.

I ought to be nervous because I'm going to have my IELTS tomorrow! - Reading writing listening speaking. I've no way to revise, what I can do is relaaaaaaaaaaaax myself. 

See, I felt so rejuvenated with my strawberry (was that a strawberry or grape, I've forgotten) - the fruit salad was simply awesome! It's actually a fruit shake, I poured the included pineapple and passion fruit juice & mixed it with the fruits & then shake shake shake. You can drink it as fruit juice as well! It makes me feel refreshing in this awful awful & awful weather.

Hrm, the weather issues. It was raining everyday last week but it's sunny everyday this week and they said it will rain next week -,- what's wrong with the weather? Terrible change in climate, blame ourselves, the destroyers of nature. (did too many literature responses about humanity lol)

I can't bear the high temperature anymore! I was yelling like an insane yesterday due to the rise in temperature. First time ever I'd seen the beads of sweat are dripping from my forehead in UK!

Since my host family is malaysian as well, they said I would certainly miss the weather here when I go back to malaysia because every time they went back to malaysia, they sweat like hell as though they were taking shower under the blazing hot sun.

18 degrees Celcius = hot hot weather for the british. As I walked along the street, I could see the girls wearing bikinis & the boys weren't wearing their top. Imagine someone wore like this in malaysia, you would definitely hear the 三姑六婆 gossiped about that person - OBVIOUS CULTURE DIFFERENCE.

Even when I video-called my mom, she asked the same question every time: 

Why do you wear like this? Don't learn those that you shouldn't learn.

Seriously I don't know what's the problem on my outfit -,-

Wish me luck in the IELTS!
My roommate came back, have to start my non-stop conversation with her now because I'm so afraid of the speaking test tomorrow wtf. I would possibly stutter over a word in front of the examiner tomorrow... Pray for me, pray for myself.



OK the opening ceremony started when I was about to end this post.
It was so astonishing!! It has successfully shown the culture and history of UK, very true.
& the appearance of Rowan Atkinson aka Mr. Bean tuned on my hysterical mode! I love him so much! He's soooooooooooo CUTE! I just automatically picked up my phone & recorded the part of performance he had participated!

HIHI! I'm bored I'm bored, I want to go home! LESS THAN ONE MONTH! Yuhoooooooo!...I think I've already get used to be alone. Breakfast alone study alone lunch alone dinner alone, poor me.
Braided my fringe today because it was too messy but I think it looked weird. Not talented in hair-styling :(

Bill's Cafe has the most satisfying breakfast! I love their breakfast so much. Today was the first time I didn't have to Q for my breakfast, lucky me! Erm... what would you think if you saw someone having his/her breakfast alone with... his/her earphone, only? - weird weird weird, that's me.

Egg Royale - NICE!

I planned to study and do my homework at Jubilee Library after my breakfast but there was no seats for me, too many people were studying there. No choice, went to the Starbucks opposite the library & skype-ed with my family for almost 1 hour, happy girl! I miss them so much... first time ever had a conversation with all my family members in one call!


Since I'm always alone, Simsimi became my best friend. I always chat with this chicky during my vacant time. I simply typed in some terms today, and it gave me these replies:- (YanLum, EeLynn & LiJun pay attention please)

Tired & sleepless weekend!

I'm accompanied by....

this stupid thing.

I was reading it all the time so that I could finish it before Monday, but I don't think I did. It's already half past 9 now & I haven't finished the last 30 pages and erm... I'm actually blogging now without giving it a damn care because it really kills my sensory cells before it reaches my brain :(

Went to London yesterday. Seriously I couldn't believe that I'd read it throughout the journey to London on the train, I'm SUPER :/ 

People said that dessert could help in healing bad mood, but I've proven that it doesn't work. I've been suffering from very serious homesick since my brother had left UK. I dreamt about my family and friends almost every night! Oh gosh... 4 weeks more!! & I thought dessert could help so I went to Laduree, again... or maybe it was just an excuse for me to consume super high calories food lol. The loneliness actually embraces you when you're having something good but you've nobody to share with. However, the chocolate cake was really really nice!

And I had an outstanding experience yesterday - I took care of a baby girl, for the whole night. She cried when she woke up at the midnight, she was in silence only when I nestled her in my arm & walk around (she shouted when I tried to sit down and have a rest) -,- I couldn't sleep for the whole night because I'd to stay alert in case she cried I had to prepare her milk. It was really suffering, therefore please appreciate whoever took care of you when you were little, it wasn't an easy job.

Sunday! I slept at 5 and I woke up at 10 today, my black eye circles are getting worse & worse.

Make up?

To make-up, or not to make-up,
that is the question.
lol.

Does makeup make any difference?

The answer probably is a... YES.

I've started to makeup (the proper one) for 2 or 3 months. You'll look more vital with your makeup, obviously. The mighty concealer can cover everything you wanted to conceal (that's why it's called as a 'conceal'er) - especially dark eye circles. But it doesn't conceal my pimples effectively, as you can see there are 2 big pimples on my forehead -,-

& this is the difference, -

Big big difference as the black eye circles appear, immediately :(

I was questioning myself, what's the point to show my ugly bare face here. Luckily my desk lamp helped in providing me visually-flawless skin - that's why I usually turn it on when I'm selca-ing! :P

However, I've asked some of my male friends, they usually prefer girls with bare face hrmmm. And some of my friends said that I looked older with makeup. So... bare face probably helps you to look younger.

Moreover, makeup isn't a good thing to apply on your skin, it hurts, honestly. I used to apply bb cream but I found out that my skin got worse & worse. After I've stopped the application of bb cream for 3 days I think, I could see the obvious improvement of my skin condition.

Maybelline The One-byOne Volum' Express Mascara

Maybelline Master Precise Eyeliner - Black

Oh I've forgotten to put in the concealer, it's from Maybelline as well. 

The Chanel eye shadow is super worthy as you can have different styles of eye makeup everyday by changing the combination of these 4 colours - black, silver, pink and gold, the colours really look natural in everyday makeup. And the bronzer, it gives you really sweet pink rosy blush and it will sparkle as it has some gold element in it besides pink. The shiny lip gloss satisfies me as well.

The most recommended item is the mascara! It really boosts up the volume & length of my eye lashes! & I remembered that it contains vitamin C so that it won't hurt your lashes, somehow it also helps in lash growth, I think, because my lashes grew LOL. Erm... the eyeliner, it's an easy-to-use eyeliner. When I was still a dumb dumb at drawing eyeline, this eyeliner did help me a lot because it was just like a sharp-pointed marker pen, it's really convenient. But the only thing is it smudges easily & it doesn't last long.

OK, in my opinion, I think that makeup might help you look prettier, but girls, we still have to be confident without makeup. And remember:

#1 Men prefer natural beauties rather than artificial super-beauties; 

#2 True love won't care about your appearance at all. *****

But I'm quite ambivalent here since 世上没有丑女人只有懒女人, it depends!

It's 7th of July, O7O7 today!
Woke up at 1130 & then had my very first meal at 1330 at La Fourchette, my always favourite patisserie.
Finally I'm back here to have my tea after 2 months since I've moved to my new house, oh yeah babe...

My strawberry tart and earl grey ♥ LOL I was planning to blog after my delicious strawberry tart & that's why my laptop was just right behind the tart.
However, my nightmares were lying on the chair behind - my homework.... including the UNSEEN ENG LIT! Seriously, I hate this temporary teacher so much. She doesn't even explain or discuss with us and she expects we'll know everything about it. The point is, she doesn't return any of the essays to us after we'd handed in for like... 1 or 2 weeks. Only 2 students, 2 x 2 essays. That's no point for us to vomit out the essays at the midnights -,-

Yummy yummy! The strawberries were so sweet & juicy! I'm certainly enjoying my life now (before I start my homework). I've watched The Amazing Spider-Man, First Time & The Bounty in 2 days, & planning to watch Ted tonight! But don't know why, I didn't have the 'watching movie' feel when I was watching hrmmm. I've had get used to watch movies with certain person? Perhaps.

The Amazing Spider-Man - oh ehm gee, the LIZARDS! Oh gosh. The disgusting crawling slimy creatures had freaked me out! I think my friends could probably imagine what was my expression when I saw those 'wad dat' things appear on the screen omg omg omg omg omg. I could definitely feel that they were crawling on my skin... & imagine their so-called amazing tail EWW! OK lah... by all accounts, it was a quite nice movie but still, no 'watching movie' feel. I've to get used to be alone.

First Time - Angelababy, my goddess goddess goddess! I love her so much ♥♥♥ I'd turn to a lesbian because of her lol. Hrm... Why are there always lies lurk beneath every love story? When lies finally became the truth, when they finally in love with each other, they couldn't stay together. Always the same story no matter in movies or reality. ——宋诗乔：别哭，我的坏男孩，要知道，我不舍得走远。

The Bounty - Fiona & Chapman! Both of them are really funny, I love them so muuuuch! The movie was funny but it's quite hard to laugh out when you were watching the movie alone, it seems stupid. & also reveals the reality, the 'cha-ching effect'. Money isn't everything, money shotldnt't be everything.

OK, have to start my homework now. Going to have my mock exam 1 month later - which is O8O8, 8th of August, another nice nice date :/
